๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ "country of geniuses in a data center" = smart assistant? (nah)

  • DOA for us = personal admin, calendar + email, wealth rebalancing, fitness optimization, workflow optimization. All these are the obv/obv (crowded, favors incumbent, and hungry/crazy/foolish 20 yr olds). Hence, we have to aim for level 3, otherwise, no point.

  • ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ using the rubric of: will i use it? Will someone pay?, is there $10M ARR already = NO).

  • Actually, let me share why it was depressing & created mental fog: good rubric to avoid wasting time and building something nobody wants. Risk-avoidance heuristic

  • ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ butโ€ฆ features != product, hence my comment about "unpolished turd" gets no useful feedback. I rarely use new prototypes b/c hard to overtake my power user workflow, (in your case, no IDE will replace your 3 decades of emacs). When asking will you pay? I default to "if I make you $10, save you $1 b/c software is dead, we all know it, just hard to stomach. Outcome based rev is the only way. The last one, winner in market already = unfalsifiable (็ฎ—ๅ‘ฝ). If it exists, too late, if not, then too early. Re: calendar failure, my post-mortem = we were too slow to launch (14 months w/ v1), focused on the wrong features (better calendar vs. integrated marketplace); & didn't have the tech (ML was ready).

  • features: context and memory management, verified code for recurring tasks, 1000x complete premium content, advanced tools for expert tasks, voice journal + screen capture . ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ lgtm.
